Those of you who haven’t heard of the waterpark, it is said to be one of the best. So we took a vacation as you probably know, and set our sights on the waterpark. The waterpark was nice, but it didn’t really feel like the “greatest waterpark” though it would have been if the lines hadn’t been so long. Luckily it didn’t rain out, but it made it nice and cool with all the clouds until the end of the day. The park is divided into an East and West Side, the east side is the main side, and has all the nice rides, but the west has my 2nd favorite, the downhill racer. it is basically 4 slides, two by two and you race with these “custom” water floats. You wait until I the gates open, and you literally fly off the starting line.
The greatest part about this ride was there was virtually no line unlike the East Side, and we went on it about six times. This being the only ride we went on in the West Side, we move on to the East Side. Here are all the great rides Schlitterbahn is known for, and my favorite the Master Blaster. It took a long time to get on this ride, but it was worth it, you go by with another person and you shoot down multiple drops making the ride great, but not worth going on multiple times due to the huge lines.
The Black Knight was the next ride, and it was like Hurricane Harbor’s Black Hole, except not as good. You don’t go down any drops, but that didn’t stop my mom from screaming. It is a maze of twists and turns, not to exciting, but considering the line goes fast, and it is usually short, you should try it out. One thing many overlook; is the lazy river, truth is, is that this is one of the best things of the water park, I have seen some people stay the whole time there. But I wouldn’t advise that. It isn’t like a regular lazy river, it is fast, and the waves can get up to four feet above you, so if you want to wait in line for some ride, just jump in the lazy river and let it carry you around. So, if you decide to go, just some words of advice; stay away from the family blaster, its line is long so it might look good, but then the ride is terrible.
